Thinking of you and your family.

Hi Robbins, I was just thinking of you folks and hoping that the God of all comfort is comforting you and your hearts during this tender time. May you be surrounded by love and family and support. The celebration of Travis was very touching and we love you.

Love, Cindy and Kenny

Pleasant Memories

We have such found memories of Travis and the years God gave us here with him on earth. We want to share a one of those times. It took place on one of our family trips to Yosemite. Almost every summer we as a family would journey to Shangri-La. Overcoming car trouble, forest fire, rock slides, all the time making memories for ourselves and our kids. The late night camp fires and the talks around them, the early morning breakfast where we pulled our resources, the hikes and raft trips were times we will never forget. It was on one of those breakfast occasions that Travis created a brand new breakfast food. He was about 6 years old, bright eyes and full of life and with and a desire to do things his way. With a table full, Travis didn't seem interested in any of the delicacies offered. Claudia, always patient ask him "what do want to eat then Travis?" After a long, thoughtful silence Travis said "mom just fix me some oatemeal." From that time forward we always refer to the revised name of oatmeal to "oatemeal". Also we always appreciated Travis when we lived in Forest Ranch years later and he might drop by once in a while. If Uncle David was outside working he always was willing to lend a hand. He also helped us with Aunt Sherry's horse corral. You knew if Travis helped the job would be done right! Some day we will meet again in a place more beautiful than Forest Ranch, or Yosemite or any place else on earth and we will share the best "oatemeal" we could ever imagine. That is our hope, what a day that will be-

Love, Uncle David & Aunt Sherry

Dear Family and Friends of Travis:
I will not forget having Travis as a student in my 8th grade English class. It was an honor to be granted the small window in which to view Travis' life via the written word. He valued and had a sense of wonder about many of the "simple" things in life at a young age, which so many take for granted. I will be reminded and think of Travis when I too drink a cup of coffee out in nature and watch the sun go up.

Claudia and your beautiful family,

Although I didn't know Travis personally, I felt that I did through our emailing each other. As we both discovered, we both have very close families and that is what you will hold on to through this time. I love the way that you all celebrate Travis' life. I know he must have been a special young man.

Randy, Claudia, Brandon and Jared,

We have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory yet we groan to be released from pain and suffering.
For we don't even know what we should pray for nor how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that can not be expressed in words. And the Father that knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying. (Romans:8)

we love you all
