I found this note in Ivy's drawer. I wrote it just like she did. I think it was for a class:

Memories burned in my head

I first met Travis through my now ex-boyfriend, Boomer (Tyler Crane), and always loved him. All of the those boys were crazy and so much fun but Travis for some reason stuck out in my mind. Travis was a great person, he was definitaly an original. For some reason, the last clear memory i have of Travis is him casually walking into Tyler, Spencer, and brians house to come and hangout with us on an ordinary night. We were watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Travis looked down at me sitting on the floor and just said, "Hi, haven't seen you in a while..." that was it. He sat down behind me and we continued to watch T.V. Nothing particularly special about that night, but i like to remember Travis just like that. I loved Travis and miss him, i wish we could have him back and smiling "we'll become silhouettes when our bodies finally go..." (Postal Service)

Mom's Loving Memories

Dear Claudia and Frank:

We are so sorry for your loss and heaven's gain. Perhaps, our Travis and Little Larry are on Heaven's links each morning and skiing and bouncing through the clouds each afternoon. They both thrive on the outdoors! Did Travis fly fish, I am sure that Little Larry will get him into that too! Parallel lives

Your son was born the same year my son was. Last Feb. 2005 my son had a full psychotic break and was diagnosed shizophrenia/paranoid. I thought our year was the worst. It was not. I am so sorry for your loss. It is such a severe devastating time. I was in full distress. Your son and the pictures moved me so I had to write. Our lives are almost parallel. I am so sorry. After a year my son found the right medication but the year was torment. Life is so confusing and unkind. I am sorry for your immense suffering and loss of a beautiful child. You are in my thoughts and prayers. always always. -God bless you and your family. -Ginny

Your son was my angel today!I believe God has a reason for everything...I was looking up my friend...(Robert"Bobby" Hill) who passed on with brain cancer. I saw the year your son was born..I was curious and clicked on to see his picture. You had his web-site so I clicked on to that as well. I am so sorry for your loss!
Your son wrote...."So the next time something goes wrong in your life, keep hoping for the best and be tolerant...Everything will be ok!

I was told by Cora that you had done some new things with his page, I really like it. The time and effort everyone is putting in to make this somewhere where we can all go, really shows. Im glad you have made this page, Ive been on a few times now looking at pictures and rereading his papers. I really loved him very much, and miss him more then ever. Randy,Claudia, Brandon and Jared, I haven't looked at the web site since you got all the pictures and things on it, IT IS BEAUTIFUL!! Not a day goes by that I don't think about Travis, and pray for each of you, every day - that the Lord will give you peace and comfort and strength for the day!! I will always remember Travis' beautiful smile and how when we would come up there and all of us would be "remembering times past" and how Travis would be right there in the middle of everyone - listening to every word with those big beautiful brown eyes....
I long for heaven even more now just knowing that Travis will "meet me at the gate"!!
