Comments: Missing an amazing friend
The pain doesn't come as often but still has the same intensity. Because he still exists. Not in my physical world. But in my heart and My God's. And for that i am eternally grateful.
God is amazing isn't he... I am glad you are with him...

Comments: Travis
What a blessing to be around and to interact with all of your boys. To here about your vacations with them and to see the love you all have for each other and for God. We really are at a loss for words, but wanted you to know that we pray and love you all. We pray God would met you in every sad place, bringing you joy in memories, and holding you when you can't even cry out. Blessings precious friends.

Comments: Thinking of you all--
Hi Randy, Claudia, Brandon, and Jared, Have had you on my mind and in my prayers as we have gone through this past holiday season--knowing this would be a difficult time as you spent it without Travis here with you for the first time. I haven't been through anything like you have at all so I can't speak from experience, but as a mom, I could just imagine and pray for you from there. The website is such a blessing to go to, to be able to remember Travis's life, who he was, all the things he did, and all he was to your family and to the other people he knew. Thanks, Claudia, for putting this memorial together and for updating it so that Travis's life continues to bless others in such a special way. I was especially so touched by how you all remembered his first birthday in heaven! Wow! That was just amazing!! Continuing to think about you guys and praying for you in this new year...

Comments: So Talented
Travis was so talented. I love reading the articles that he has written over the years. I can feel the love he had for his family. We are now starting a new year but our "old memories" of our loved ones will always be with us. Our family has suffered a loss as well last year, so I know the heartache that you are feeling. If all it would of taken was the love of a family Travis would still be here.

Comments: Your website to honor Travis
I have been reading all that you have submitted to this wonderful website. What a beautiful job you have done in keeping his memory alive. I Know the pain you are still suffering, but I pray God will bless you each day that passes and that He will be able to ease the pain as time goes on. Travis has given you some precious memories during his lifetime, and what a blessing it is to have those to keep forever! The outpouring of love that your family has for Travis is evident in this site. He will always be remembered by the joy he has brought to you and to all of your loving family. What a joy it has been for Dick and myself to have known you and your family for so many years...and to have had all of you in our lives.

Comments: Thinking of you
I wish that I had something wise and wonderful to say....such a beautiful boy. From your website I can see that your family is very close. Nothing will change that. The fine memories that we have of our children will live on forever. I love the journal from second grade. I know that Christmas will be difficult this year for your family...we will be thinking of you.

Comments: The Master's Bouquet
Dear Cousin Claudia,
This poem expresses my love for your family and feelings about your son Travis. If ever I can be of help in any way please feel free to contact me. I love you all and pray that you will find peace.
THE MASTER'S BOUQUET
AS I WANDERED TODAY IN MY GARDEN, I LOOKED AT THE FLOWERS THERE AND I PICKED A BOUQUET OF BLOSSOMS AND BUDS THAT WERE VERY FAIR. THE FLOWERS I PICKED WERE SO LOVELY, AS I PLACED THEM IN MY BOUQUET, BUT, ALAS, WHEN I LOOKED AT MY GARDEN, ITS BEAUTY HAD FADED AWAY. FOR I HAD PLUCKED FROM ITS PRESENCE THE FLOWERS OF BRIGHTEST HUE, AND THERE WAS SUCH AN EMPTINESS IN THE PLACE WHERE THE FLOWERS GREW. AND SO IT IS IN LIFE'S GARDEN- THERE'S A PLACE THAT IS EMPTY AND BARE FOR THE MASTER HAS GATHERED A FLOWER TO PLACE IN HIS BOUQUET SO RARE. AND LIFE WILL BE JUST A BIT DULLER, FOR ONE WHOM WE LOVED IS NOT HERE. WITHOUT HIS SWEET SPIRIT TO CHEER US, OUR SKIES WILL NOT BE SO CLEAR BUT LIKE THE SWEET FLOWERS WE HAVE GATHERED, HIS MEMORY WILL NOT FADE AWAY, AND THIS COMFORTING WE'LL REMEMBER, HE WAS PICKED FOR THE MASTER'S BOUQUET.
With love, your cousin Bob
PS I just realized that Travis and my Mother shared the same birthday. Isn't that something?

I had been thinking of Travis lately and thought I'd check the website. Oh, how lovely it is put together. It is truly a work of love! It brought back memories of your little Travis seeing the latest pictures at Halloween. Your boys are so cute. We are doing fine here. I think of you often and wanted to say Hello to you all.
